Redefining Success
From Classroom to Radio Waves, 9 Years Gap.
I’m Ghada Hussein, and my journey has been anything but conventional. I started my career as an art teacher, spending six years at El Orouba International School in Riyadh, where I nurtured young talents and found joy in creativity. But life took me on a different path, and I took a career break for 9 years.
When I was ready to return to the workforce in 2024, I knew I wanted to follow my passion for media and storytelling. To prepare myself, I took radio courses and refined my skills before stepping into a new industry. That decision led me to Radio Scoop, where I am now working as a Radio Presenter.
I launched and hosted a two-season radio program, not only on-air but also streamed live on Facebook, allowing me to connect with a wider audience. One of my proudest moments was presenting Fawazir programs during Ramadan 2025, engaging listeners in a fun and interactive way. My journey in media also led me to an incredible opportunity, I was honored to join a Ramadan radio series alongside the star Medhat Saleh.
Looking back, I realize that taking a career break didn’t mean the end of my ambitions; it was just a pause before a new beginning. By embracing change and believing in my abilities, I transformed my passion into a career.
My story proves that with dedication and courage, it’s never too late to reinvent yourself.
