Responsibilities
- Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum that align with early childhood education standards and best practices.
- Establish positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues to support the holistic development of each child.
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians on their child's growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching practices and support the school's mission and goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Teaching certification/licensure for early childhood education.
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or nursery setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
