The Ministry of Communications and the "Haya Kareema" Foundation Launch the Interview Phase for the Customer Service Representative Training Program as Part of Efforts to Improve Living Standards in the First Phase Villages of the National Digital “Haya Kareema” Project
In line with the comprehensive vision to enhance the quality of life for Egyptians, joint efforts continue to advance digital empowerment and capacity building through a range of specialized programs targeting young men and women in the first-phase villages of the presidential initiative “Haya Kareema.” This is made possible through a partnership between the Haya Kareema Foundation and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
As part of this initiative, “Momken” – a company specialized in projects that empower women, youth, and job seekers – is implementing a tech-based training program to prepare young people for remote customer service roles, under the Ministry's supervision.
Within this context, the first phase of personal interviews has been completed for 80 candidates. The remaining stages will follow in succession as part of the preparation and qualification program for customer service representatives, paving the way for the launch of specialized training. This step follows a series of awareness sessions and preliminary evaluations aimed at uncovering the hidden potential of village youth and guiding them toward paths of personal and community development.
A notable highlight of this stage is that several selected candidates are graduates of the “Tech Ambassadors” program and the internationally certified digital qualification programs from the “Digital Haya Kareema” initiative, implemented jointly by the Ministry and the Foundation over the past year. This confirms the success of the shared vision behind the Tech Ambassadors program, which aims to create a progressive path from digital literacy to youth empowerment on social, cultural, and technical levels within local communities.
The program goes beyond technical training to instill a culture of community participation, belonging, and self-reliance within the villages by:
• Enhancing youth self-confidence and their ability to represent their communities in professional settings.
• Promoting the culture of remote work as a tool to balance community privacy with global connectivity.
• Creating a socially supportive environment that encourages continuous learning and training.
Main Program Stages:
- Awareness & Selection: Through in-person meetings with village youth to introduce them to new paths for personal development.
- Personal Interviews: Conducted this week for 80 trainees from the targeted villages.
- Specialized Training: Delivered via the “Momken” platform under the supervision of the Ministry of Communications.
- Community Follow-up: Aimed at tracking the social impact of the program within the villages.
The vision of the Haya Kareema Foundation affirms that social empowerment begins with investing in people, expanding their awareness, and connecting them with a culture of learning and work. The Foundation is committed to ensuring that its programs integrate digital skills, community belonging, and fairness in opportunity access.
